It's hard to beat anything from Spielberg. He is the best of the best ... The first movie I'm presenting is
AMISTAD. The movie is about a 1839 slave ship that had an uprising and revolt. The story is fabulous and Morgan Freeman (a favorite of mine) is in the starring role...
This one is a true story. It takes place at during the Olympics in Munich in 1972. Arab terrorists from The Black September group took members of the Israelie Olympic team hostage. The end was dramatic and changed the Olympics forever. Oh, and by the way, our ALL STAR track team headed home and never did finish the competition.
Watch
21 DAYS IN MUNICH
There are westerns, and then there are Great Westerns. Gary Cooper stars in this unforgetable Classic western and his co-star is Grace Kelly, who wasn't very well known at the time. It's a story about human nature, definitely not at its best.
HIGH NOON
Another movie I enjoyed, that also involves human nature, crime and mental punishment is: CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS, staring Woody Alland and Alan Alda. Interest, Mia Farrow, Woody's soon to be wife, is also featured.
